Home after 11 days in the Midwest, and now a full 2 weeks off the bike. Skipped the first weekly SWC pizza ride on Thursday, having just arrived home that afternoon and feeling very much out of control. Everything I needed to get caught up is now basically done (though the list keeps growing), and tomorrow being Sunday, a ride is possible after things warm up a bit. Cold (for May) night ahead, so the morning may not be a good time.

Not sure yet if commuting will be an option this week, due to other circumstances, but hopefully all pieces will come together and let me get in at least ONE day of it.

Worked some more on a touring packing list today, using a combination of my supported tour and backpacking lists, and also trying to identify where on the bike to pack stuff. Need to go through some other people's touring packing lists I've saved and add to mine, then try laying it all out and see if it's going to fit. Also need to install front rack at some point, and see how that's going to work out.
