Weather...

No commuting, and no SWC Thursday ride this week, no biking at all. Thursday had iffy weather (which seemed to turn out OK after all), but I also had a nagging neck problem that argued against riding, especially if rainy. Skipped the ride altogether. No commuting, because of continuing external circumstances, and didn't ride trainer either because of neck. Bad.

Weather has been extremely wet and cold for an Albany May. Hiked on Saturday, Sunday cold, rainy, and wet, or I would have biked despite tiredness. Back on trainer tomorrow, I hope, and maybe some commuting soon. Weather is expected to improve, external circumstances may be about to resolve, and SWC Thursday ride this week should be a go.

Meanwhile, front rack is now mounted on 520, and also added very freddy mount for headlight, on left fork. Works great, and gets it out from behind the Arkel handlebar bag! Packing list review continues (slowly). Need to compare a couple of others' against mine, then lay stuff out with its assigned locations, and see if this will all fit in these old panniers. New Arkels are looking better by the day, but not this year. Had to replace rotted bungees on bottoms of old front panniers, but these should otherwise serve for awhile.
